Mail Theft — At 10:06 a.m., Livermore police reported to Brentwood police that they had arrested two individuals for possession of stolen mail, and that some of the mail recovered was addressed to Brentwood residents. Brentwood police filed a report for investigative purposes.”
- ST. CLOUD, Minnesota: WJON – Police Report Several Mailbox Thefts; Several reports of stolen mail are coming into the St. Cloud Police Department. Police say based upon the time of year, it appears thieves are targeting W2 forms in an effort to file fraudulent tax returns to obtain someone else’s refund money.

- CANELO, Arizona: The Weekly Bulletin – Canelo residence burglarized; mailboxes targeted; “A Canelo woman said for two days in a row she had been missing mail from her mailbox at the intersection of Membrillo Lane and State Route 82. The woman said she received mail on a daily basis and therefore something was obviously wrong.”

- WATAUGA, Texas: The Dallas Morning News – Watauga couple sentenced for stealing mail; “A Watauga man and his girlfriend were sentenced to federal prison this week for stealing mail from residential mailboxes in Roanoke, Southlake, and Keller, the U.S. attorney’s office announced Thursday.”
- ROANOKE, Texas: Star-Telegram – Couple sentenced to prison for stealing mail; “An investigation began after residents started complaining that their mail was stolen. One person police that an American Express card was mailed to a Southlake residence, but it was never received, according to a news release.
