Jack in Tampa: “Mail Boss Survived!”
Mail Boss launched 50 feet, takes out car!
This is a pretty ridiculous tale of mailbox survival!
Jack from Tampa reports that when his Mail Boss was hit by a car, the mailbox survived better than the car did!
The impact launched the mailbox some fifty feet down the road and mangled the mounting plate, but as you can see from the photos, the car ended up in pieces while the mailbox itself is still in tact!
From Jack:
“As you’ll see from the attached pics, the mailbox survived better than the car did. Those are actual pieces of the car scattered about!”
“Here you can see where the box actually landed – the post is in the background.”
“The actual box is about 50′ away near the top of the culvert. These are all pieces of the car!”
“The box was ripped off the mounting plate. Another piece of the car!”
“Thanks again for a GREAT PRODUCT AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!”
We are sending Jack a complimentary replacement Fast-Trak Mounting Plate to use to remount the Mail Boss!
It’s not too likely that the car will be so easily repaired.
