Lost Keys

I lost my keys, but I may have my key number.

You can order a replacement key for your mailbox here.

If you have a round key, unfortunately replacements are no longer available. You will need to replace your lock and key here. If you have any questions, please contact us.

I lost my keys and I don't know my number. What do I do?

Unfortunately, replacement keys cannot be ordered without a key number. This number can only be found on the key itself. If you do not know your key number, please contact our customer service, and we would be happy to advise on next steps.

Shipping and Delivery

Is shipping included in my order?

Yes. Shipping is included for all products within the contiguous United States. Accessories and replacement keys ship via USPS First Class Mail. All larger items ship via FedEx Ground.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are proccessed and shipped from Arlington, WA within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). High order volumes may cause slight delays.

Deliveries to the west coast typically arrive within 3–5 business days. East coast, typically within 7–10 business days.

Do you ship outside the contiguous U.S.?

We currently do not ship large items to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or Canada due to high freight costs. To enquire about shipping to a different destination, please contact us.

Accessories & replacement keys: Shipped anywhere in the U.S. and its territories at no extra fee.

Accessories to Canada: Available with an additional shipping charge.

Please note: transit times and tracking updates may be slower outside the contiguous U.S.

Returns & Replacements

How do I return a product?

To return items please contact us! If you are unsatisfied for any reason with your MailBoss purchase, you can return it within 30 days for a refund, exchange, or store credit. Items must be returned in the same unused condition in which they were received and include all the original packaging.

All refunds will be issued in the original form of payment used for purchase, and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. The restocking fee may be waived for exchanges.

Returns or exchanges are not allowed on clearance or discontinued items.

What if the product arrived damaged?

In the event that your merchandise arrives with shipping damage, we promise we will make it right! Please save all original packaging, and notify us and the shipping company immediately.

Upon receiving your goods, please unbox and inspect your merchandise for any concealed damage. Pictures may be required in the event of hidden damage.

If there are partial damages, we will send free replacement parts to correct the problem or replace the damaged item free of charge at our discretion. If a replacement is declined and you would rather cancel your order, you may choose from the following: Upon receipt of the return we will issue a refund, store credit, or exchange at your request. Refunds are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

We are not responsible for any damages reported after 5 days of arrival.

What is your product warranty policy?

MailBoss stands by the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Therefore, we offer a free Limited Lifetime Warranty on all MailBoss products with proof of purchase.

The Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects and any failure of moving parts under normal use. We pledge to repair or replace, upon determination, any product or component that is defective in material or workmanship for as long as you own it.

If your product is found to be defective in any way, please contact us anytime during our business hours and we will assist you in procuring the correct replacement parts free of charge.

The Limited Lifetime Warranty excludes deliberate or accidental damage, and does not extend to misuse, finishes, rust, or improper installation.

MailBoss Features

Is MailBoss USPS-approved?

Yes! All of our post mount MailBoss mailboxes have been stamped and approved by the U.S. Postmaster General, as listed here.

In order to stamp “US Mail approved by the Postmaster General” on a mailbox, the manufacturer must demonstrate that their manufacturing process is sound, and that the product meets a certain level of quality and integrity when subjected to harsh environmental conditions. Overall, the USPS approval process ensures that all curbside mailboxes are reasonably safe and efficient for mail carriers to use.

Is the Mail Boss 100% theft proof?

No mailbox is 100% theft proof. However, we have spent hours trying to break into our locking mailboxes with little success. Most US Mail approved locking mailboxes on the market can be opened in a matter of seconds with a screwdriver, or even by hand.

Mail Boss makes formidable mailboxes, that are designed to seriously stand up to most any vandalism and theft attempts made against them. Our patented lock design features an anti-pry latch lock mechanism, which deters thieves from prying the door open even with larger tools.

What is included with MailBoss mailboxes?

Every MailBoss mailbox style—post mount, wall mount, or multi unit—comes with all the required hardware for installation. You will receive the correct sized drill bit and lag screws for installing the mounting plate to wood. If you choose to mount your MailBoss to any of our posts, we provide the necessary bolts. All locking unit comes with three keys. We have over 2000 unique key combinations to help ensure that no one has unauthorized access to your unit.
