Powder-coating is a sought-after finish on any metal product that may be exposed to harsh environmental factors.

Since the technology exists to make cold rolled steel as weather resistant as aluminum or plastic, the argument for the use of inferior strength products like aluminum and plastic becomes nonsensical.
