Have had it now for over a year. It works fine in warm weather, as soon as temps fall below 40, the battery is done. As others have mentioned, it’s a PIA to change the battery which usually has to be done in cold weather and then fumbling with the lock bits to get them lined up correctly. The beep is not loud enough, the numbers are not illuminated. Basically, one step above Chinese Temu crap. Definitely not in congruence with the excellent build quality of MailBoss mailbox it’s attached to.
They could’ve easily repositioned the battery to the inside of the mailbox, insulate it better, make it rechargeable or at least functional when the battery dies with a USBc plug accessible from the outside.

We have two mailboxes, now withe same combination. It is much more convenient than fumbling around for the right key!
We do wish, however, that the beep was loud enough to hear.

The new digital combination lock was easy to install and to program. The old thumbwheel lock stopped working and the support person sent me the new digital lock, no problem. Thanks.

There were no instructions on replacing the battery…

Looks and functions well.Easy installation. Not sure about the ease of battery replacement or battery life. I think that battery replacement should be described in the manual and it looks as if you have to remove the lock every time you have to replace the battery. Other than that it looks to be a quality upgrade product.
