The Mail Boss 27" Surface Mount Post and Baseplate Package provide a secure, heavy-duty mounting solution for curbside mailbox installations where the mounting surface is elevated above road grade, such as raised curbs, sidewalks, or hardscape features. This bundle includes both the 27 inch surface mount post and the Mail Boss baseplate, engineered to work together for strength, stability, and long-term durability.

The post is constructed from 14-gauge galvanized steel, with a 10-gauge galvanized steel top plate welded to the post to create a secure and rigid mounting surface for your mailbox. The Mail Boss baseplate is formed from 10-gauge galvanized steel, delivering exceptional strength at the foundation of the installation. The post bolts directly to the baseplate using six included stainless steel fasteners, creating a rigid and reliable assembly designed to withstand daily use and harsh outdoor conditions.

This surface-mount system eliminates the need for digging or setting an in-ground post and is ideal for raised concrete pads, sidewalks, and other hard surfaces that sit approximately 4 to 8 inches above the road surface. Surface mounting fasteners are not included, allowing installers to select anchors that best match their specific surface conditions, such as concrete screws, anchors set with epoxy, or embedded hardware.
